Tasks

  • Store clean dishes, glasses and equipment appropriately 
  • Set up workstations before meal prep begins 
  • Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses and utensils, especially during peak hours 
  • Check washing machines’ operation and promptly report any technical/performance issues 
  • Remove garbage regularly 
  • Sanitize the kitchen area, including the floor

  • Clean, stock and supply designated facility areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning ceiling vents, restroom cleaning etc)
  • Knowledge of cleaning and sanitation products and techniques
  • Notify management of occurring deficiencies or needs for repairs
  • Follow all health and safety regulations
  • Laundry duties ( washing, drying, ironing)

  • Perform all check-in and check-out tasks

  • Respond to clients’ complaints in a timely and professional manner 
  • Liaise with our housekeeping staff to ensure all rooms are clean, tidy and fully furnished to accommodate guests’ needs 
  • Confirm group reservations and arrange personalized services for VIP customers and event attendees, like wedding guests
  • Maintain updated records of bookings and payments

  • Languages: Fluent in Italian, English (bonus: German)
  • Understanding of how travel planning websites operate

You are responsible to fill our premises with the delicious smell of freshly baked goods, and letting your creative flair run wild in experimenting with recipes that introduce our guests to exquisite new desserts. 


Tasks

  • Prepare a wide variety of goods such as cakes, cookies, pies, bread etc. following traditional and modern recipes 
  • Create new and exciting desserts to renew our menus and engage the interest of customers 
  • Decorate pastries using different icings, toppings etc. to ensure the presentation will be beautiful and exciting 
  • Monitor stocks for baking ingredients such as flour, sugar etc. and make appropriate orders within budget 
  • Check quality of material and condition of equipment and devices used for cooking 
  • Maintain a lean and orderly cooking station and adhere to health and safety standards 
     

Requirements

  • Certificate in culinary arts, pastry-making or baking OR at least a 2 years experience in this field 
  • Languages: Intermediate in either English, German or Italian 
  • Attention to detail and creativity 
  • Willingness to replenish professional knowledge 
  • In depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation and baking techniques and nutrition 
  • Working knowledge of baking with ingredient limitations (pastries that are gluten free, sugarless etc.)
